The Hidden Valley
A wander in the Moffat Hills in the Scottish Borders looking for locations for the colder winter months ahead. I took a couple of miles hike into the valley, and spotted a few compositions that will work over the next few months.
One from a wander around the trail that follows the Kennick Burn which is in the Galloway Forest near Laurieston. It was tricky to balance the strong light and dark shadow areas, but I am quite pleased with the results.
Barhill Wood Bluebells
One of the best bluebell woods in Dumfries and Galloway, at Barhill near Kirkcudbright. Gorgeous early morning light coming through the trees highlighting the bluebells and ferns.

A stunning display of the Aurora from Southerness Lighthouse on the Dumfries and Galloway coastline. After seeing the reports of the storm level aurora I decided to head to Southerness and perhaps risk not getting any shot, luckily I was rewarded with my trip.
